What happens when I donate to the bazaar?
Earning Karma at the Clothing Bazaar
Donate bundles of clothing
Donate clothing for a particular gender, size and weather. You don’t have to deal with selling/donating your wardrobe piecemeal or deal with multiple buyers. Donated clothing remains in your possession untiil we find you a match.
Automatic karma calculation
The Karma Bazaar automatically calculates the karma earned by your donation and credits it to your profile. Karma is immediately available to spend, even before we find a match for your donation.
No photos needed
You fill a form to describe your bundle. No need to take pictures of individual items of clothing.
Children's clothing
The clothing bazaar is for children’s clothing up to EU size 146.
How do I get clothing from the bazaar?
Spending Karma at the Clothing Bazaar
Ask for what you want
No endless scrolling to find the clothing you want. Fill a form that describes your needs.
Automatic matching
We find the best match for you. You don’t need to scroll endlessly and try to be the first one to pounce when someone posts what you need.
Location awareness
If we have more than one bundle that matches your criteria, the bazaar will pick the location closest to you.
Automatic queueing
If there is no bundle currently available that meets your needs, your request remains in the queue. When a matching bundle shows up, you will be notified.
How to Join the Clothing Bazaar
Membership for Amsterdam is now open!
Join the Karma Bazaar Amsterdam Facebook Group. When you spend your karma on a clothing bundle, and a match is found for you, the match is announced in the Facebook group.
Earning Karma
Fill in the Donations Form to describe the clothing bundle that you want to donate.
Spending Karma
Fill in the Requests Form describing the clothing bundle that you want to receive.
Frequently Asked Questions
It is possible that you receive a bundle with clothing brands that you are not a fan of, or that has styles that you don’t like, or colors that your child does not approve of. If this happens we suggest that you donate the bundle back to The KarmaBazaar and make a new request for a clothing bundle.
Contact us at admin@thekarmabazaar.com with your request. Note that you can only withdraw your donation or request if you have not already been matched with someone. In your email please include the following information: Your FaceBook Name, the email address you used when filling the donate/request form, the 4-digit postcode, the size of clothing and the weather you chose, and whether you asked for clothing for a boy or a girl. If you are canceling a donation, please also include the bundle ID.
When you make a donation we send you and email with the amount of karma you have earned. Check your spam folder if you did not receive the email. When you are matched to receive a bundle, the notification you receive in the Facebook Group includes how much karma you have remaining after the match. If you cannot find your karma from these sources, contact us as admin@thekarmabazaar.com.
